Nashville, TN. Renowned chef Sean Brock purchased the property to house his first individual high-end concept in Nashville. Named ‘Audrey’ after his grandmother, Chef Brock created an all new restaurant to combine his deep southern heritage with his love and influences of Japanese cuisine and décor. We are proud to have designed and engineered a challenging site that aimed to keep an existing warehouse structure to meet the current standards of Nashville.

Nashville, TN. 300 lot, single family development nestled along the Cumberland River is the Donelson Area. The site was designed to work not only with the existing topography but also with the numerous environmental features. The site’s existing state consisted of floodplain, wetlands and streams – all of which have not only been preserved but enhanced. Nearly 2 acres of newly formed man-made wetlands were designed as constructed as part of the project and their state 7 years latter far exceed design expectations. A 10 acre lake was created to help balance the site’s earthwork as well as to increase the habitat of the land and to provide an active amenity for the neighborhood.

Nashville, TN. Situated on a hillside near Bellevue, we successfully rezoned the property to allow for approximately 350 multi-family units in a challenging topographical site. Coordinating with TDOT, Metro, and TDEC, the site was carefully planned and engineered to economically tier the development along the hillside, while preserving much of the natural resources in the way of a stream on one side, and a conserved hillside on the other.

Thornton Grove is a Residential Planned Unit Development located in North Nashville, at the North West intersection of Brick Church Pike and the North Fork of Ewing Creek.

The residential development consists of 315 Single Family Residential Lots, and 173 Townhome Units. Nestled on what was previously farmland owned by the Cone Family, this residential development was designed in a way that preserves multiple natural features, such as wetlands and streams, in order to create a neighborhood that honor’s the property’s past while welcoming new growth within the Nashville Community.

Kindred Healthcare partnered with Ascention Saint Thomas and established a new healthcare rehabilitation center on the Midtown Campus near downtown Nashville. Situated within a tight urban setting, we performed the survey and engineering design of an approximately 40-bed rehab facility, all while coordinating with the adjacent addition of a surgery center to the main hospital building.

Christ Community Church is a church campus in the heart of Franklin, TN. Originally built in 2001, CCC has experienced a healthy presence in the community, and added onto their campus with a modern youth center, affectionately named The Harpeth House, situated close to the banks of the Harpeth River. We assisted the church on creating a new master plan for their campus, rezoning the property to appropriately coincide with Envision Franklin, and performing all engineering and surveying services to see the fruition of the new Harpeth House.

The northwest corner of 9th Avenue N. and Cheatham Place in North Nashville was formerly approved to be a 38-unit multi-family building. A downzoning of the property allowed for the neighborhood of 15 cottage-style homes under construction today. We planned the site to enhance the Buena Vista community by creating green space, preserving all existing buildings, and modeling it after new developments in the neighboring communities of Germantown and Salemtown.

Cisterns, detention ponds, and water boxes are all common, traditional methods of capturing and treating run-off water. Rain gardens are an effective and efficient alternative to those methods that introduces green spaces into commercial settings. Carefully designed and engineered to capture run-off water, rain gardens often look like patches of landscaping at the edges of parking lots. We're integrating rain gardens into the commercial landscape of Middle Tennessee, one business at a time, beginning with many of the Dollar Generals in the region.
